VEC wanted to change the process to be more intuitive for the target audience who were not tech savy, and digitise 80% of the process freeing up their employees during election time to concentrate on other duties.
Role & Team:

GOAL
How do we make election nomination process easy?
Analyse the current sitemap
Analyse the current sitemap and discover its pain points. Analysing the user personas and user needs to discover things that can be improved in the current system.
Creating a prototypes
Using the user research, proposing a new sitemap that provides solutions to the pain points. Proposing a new user journey that satisfies the user needs. We used balsamiq to make low fidelity prototypes.
Mapping the Journey
The complex app was divided in 5 high level sections - Nomination, Statement, Questionnaire, Review and Print forms.
Visualising the App (Mobile + Tablet + Desktop)
The UI design had to be intuitive and delightful. Using the existing brand voice of VEC, the maroon and navy was used for call-to-actions.
