Extracting Equality

Client:
Tactical Studios, London I 2014

Deliverables:
Concertina Brochure, Poster

Project Description:
Publish What you Pay (PWYP) in partnership with UN Women, requested Tactical Studios to propose ideas for the design, layout and format of a gender responsive value chain as part of PWYP’s efforts to incorporate gender into their campaign for transparency and accountability in the extractive sector. We proposed an easy to distribute, interactive and visually appealing format that complements the sequential structure of the value chain. A combination of hard and soft graphic styles result in the product being more visual and tactile breaking the less traditional information pattern in extractive industries which is stereotypically been seen as being masculine. The design needed to echos the message of gender equality by allowing the format to appeal to both men and women.

Role & Team:
Graphic Designer working directly with the client.
